All bidders are notified whether their bid has been selected.

6. Complete onboarding

Selected contractors complete insurance, tax, payment, and contracting requirements before work begins.

How Verusi Pays Workers

Verusi Properties uses milestone-based payments tied to completed and approved work. Payment requirements and milestone schedules are established before construction begins so contractors understand when payment is earned and what documentation is required.

  - Initial payment is only when the site has been prepped for work/county inspection
  - Second payment at the halfway point, third payment when work complete, final payment after punch list completed
Approved draw requests processed promptly
Required lien waivers and supporting documentation

Approved change orders documented before additional work proceeds
10% retainage held through project closeout
Early-completion incentives may be available on qualifying projects

How Materials Are Handled

Depending on the project and trade, Verusi may use either of two purchasing methods:

Contractor Purchased

The contractor purchases approved materials and submits required receipts for reimbursement according to the construction agreement.

Verusi Purchased/ Direct Pay

Verusi pays the supplier directly from an approved supplier invoice. The contractor coordinates quantities, specifications, ordering, and installation requirements.

The material purchasing method is established before work begins. Contractors should not purchase materials outside the agreed process without written approval.
